Impact Seeing his first action since Nov. 27, the sophomore guard appears ready to grab hold of a meaningful spot in the rotation. It may be too late for the Blue Demons, who own just two Big East wins and need a miracle to have a shot at postseason play, but Lopez can still build some valuable experience with the program set to potentially lose a few key backcourt pieces this offseason.

Huge day against DePaul Champagnie had 29 points (9-22 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and two steals across 35 minutes in Saturday's 88-83 loss to DePaul.

Impact Champagnie continues to score at an elite level, coming within four points of his previous season high. His 20.3 ppg is a full two points greater than Sandro Mamukelashvili for the Big East lead, as well as good for No. 26 in the country following the weekend slate of games.

Lifts DePaul in return Moore had 24 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight assists and six rebounds across 32 minutes in Saturday's 88-83 victory over St. John's.

Impact Moore has been limited of late due to a knee injury that forced him to miss back-to-back games, and while the senior came off the bench for the first time this season, it didn't stop him from posting a season-best scoring total. It's been a rocky season for a DePaul team that dealt with multiple serious injuries and COVID-related shutdowns, and as a result, the Blue Demons have only mustered two Big East wins.

Limited in Saturday's loss Williams had three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and a rebound in 10 minutes during Saturday's 88-83 loss to Depaul.

Impact Williams took a knee to the lower back early on in Saturday's game and it clearly affected him. Head coach Mike Anderson mentioned afterward that Williams did have some issues with his back during the game but was proud of how he came back and tried to fight through it. The 6-3 junior has been dealing with the same issue since suffering the injury Jan. 18 and now it seems to have flared back up again. It'll be interesting to see what his availability is like for Tuesday's road game against Villanova.
