Impact Simpkins started his second straight game Wednesday and put in another solid performance. He scored 12 points on eight shots and hit one triple in his third straight game. He also chipped in two assists, one rebound and two steals in a solid yet unremarkable performance. He played 35 minutes though, making it clear that he's a very important part of the Pirates' rotation.

Adam Clark - Scores 19 in Wednesday's loss Clark totaled 19 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), one rebound and five assists across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 69-57 loss to DePaul.

Impact Clark led the Pirates with 19 points in Wednesday's loss, a nice way to bounce back after he scored just eight in Sunday's win over Butler. He also chipped in five assists in his third straight game, but that coincided with his second consecutive outing with five turnovers. Clark has clearly established himself as the No. 1 scoring option on the team as of late as he's averaging 19.1 points per game over the last eight contests.

Impact Gunn came off the bench in his second straight game Wednesday, but this time he produced like a starter. He scored 18 points and hit three triples, and also tied a season-high with seven rebounds. He also recorded three steals for just the fourth time this season, the first time he's done so off the bench. The Blue Demons are now 4-0 when Gunn comes off the bench, so it would not be surprising if he stays there and contributes as a star off the bench.

NJ Benson - Productive in Wednesday's win Benson amassed 21 points (8-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-9 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 69-57 win over Seton Hall.

Impact Benson scored 20 points in his second straight game Wednesday, his third such game of the season. He hit eight of his nine attempts from the field in the victory, although he continued to struggle from the free throw line. He also grabbed eight rebounds, nearly recording his fourth double-double of the campaign. He's now averaging 10.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season, the most productive campaign of the senior's career.
