Impact Carrington was not able to make any of the four shots he attempted during his Gophers debut. He will try to redeem himself as their 2022-23 season goes on. Currently, he is expected to adjust as they continue using Ta'lon Cooper and Will Ramberg as their starting backcourt.

Impact Payne has shown himself worthy of increasing minutes and it's paid off with high scoring efficiency. Where he'll need to adjust his strategy as a first-year player is with turnovers, as he's given up 11 possessions in just three games.

Jamison Battle - Set to mis another game Battle (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against DePaul, Marcus Fuller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Impact Battle will miss his third straight game to begin the season with a foot injury. There has been no update as to when the junior forward will be able to return to action. Minnesota's next game is on Thursday against Central Michigan.

Impact Carrington missed the first two games of the season due to an ankle injury but will be available to make his collegiate debut Monday. It's not yet clear how much playing time he'll see in Minnesota's backcourt.
