Impact Joplin was very efficient on offense against the Huskies, but his efforts weren't quite enough as the Golden Eagles took the loss. The senior forward dropped his highest scoring total since mid January, and he hit a solid three thee-pointers. He'll need to be a beast not only on the scoring front but also in the paint against a gritty St. John's team this Saturday.

Impact Joplin has recorded exactly seven points in back-to-back games to follow his 22-point effort against Creighton, though that can at least be partially attributed to the fact that Marquette was facing Big East bottom-feeders and was allowed to go deeper into its bench. The senior forward will almost certainly see greater than 22 minutes when the Golden Eagles head to Villanova on Friday night.
