Impact Peterson has missed back-to-back games with hamstring soreness, and based on Self's comments, he'll miss at least Tuesday's game against Duke. After the Duke game, Kansas won't play until Nov. 24 against Notre Dame, which is the first of a back-to-back set. A Nov. 25 matchup with Syracuse makes up the other half. The 6-foot-6 freshman averaged 21.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals across 25.5 minutes during his two appearances of the 2025-26 season. Impact Peterson's sore hamstring will cause another DNP, his second since he did not play Tuesday against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Though the Kansas team did not need him then, and likely does not require his services against another mid-major at home, Peterson can not improve his stock against one of Kansas' easier opponents this season.
