Undergoes MRI Davis (knee) underwent an MRI on his injured knee, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact Davis missed his seventh-straight game with a knee injury as the Friars took down the Bears on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-1 sophomore transfer from Florida State underwent an MRI earlier this week, and head coach Kim English said that a medical redshirt remains a possibility for Davis. The results of the MRI and subsequent severity of the injury are unknown at this time, but it seems unlikely that Davis will be available for Saturday's game against Butler.

Impact Davis was limited to only five minutes, but at least he's healthy and could be considered an option going forward. His minutes should increase going forward, but he's only expected to operate as the backup behind Jason Edwards at point guard.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE

Commits to Providence Davis has committed to Providence, Nick Kosko of On3.com.
Impact Before beginning his collegiate career with Florida State, Davis changed his mind from a previous commitment to Providence. Davis began his 2024-25 season and collegiate career as a reserve before making his way up to Florida State's starting point guard. The PG's role eventually dropped, but he remained a vital part of FSU's rotation that it would make sense for other teams to take a chance on him. Florida State let go of Leonard Hamilton, who recruited Davis, and Providence's team is in need of a point guard to replace Bensley Joseph. Enter Davis, whose first season includes averages of 8.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
