Layden Blocker - 15 points in blowout loss Blocker supplied 15 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 73-49 loss to Creighton.
Impact Blocker was able to get a decent amount of minutes in the huge blowout for the Blue Demons. The sophomore guard registered his third-best scoring game of the year, and he also tacked on three steals. He'll look to stay involved this upcoming Saturday at Butler.

Impact While Benson conceded his spot in the starting lineup back to David Skogman in this one, the former still out-produced the latter in minutes played, scoring and rebounding. Benson has now achieved double-digit scoring in six of his last seven games, averaging an impressive 11.9 points and 9.0 rebounds over that span. Whether server as a starter or a reserve, it looks like he'll continue to produce.
