Impact Pettiford was just 5-of-16 from the field on his way to 13 points in the Wednesday win over Mississippi State. He bounced back by equaling his season high in 3-pointers in the loss to the Volunteers. Auburn is right on the NCAA Tournament bubble and could have really used a win over Tennessee. Pettiford will await his fate on Selection Sunday.

Impact Overton provided 15 points in the second half as the Tigers cruised to the win. The 6-5 junior has scored at least 21 points in his last three games and has hit half of his 3-pointers in that span. The Tigers will play again on Thursday against Tennessee in the third round of the SEC Tournament. Overton was limited to seven points on 2-of-10 from the field in the Jan. 31 loss to the Volunteers.
