Sebastian Rancik - Leaves Buffs' game vs. Houston Rancik appeared to injure his right leg against Houston after an in-game collision, Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Impact Ranick went to the locker room, reportedly walking gingerly and favoring his left leg. He has yet to return for the Buffaloes they try to pull off a massive upset over Houston. The guard had two points and one rebound before his exit.

Javon Ruffin - Returns to bench role Ruffin will come off the bench in Colorado's Big 12 Tournament game against Houston, Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Impact Ruffin started the past four games for the Buffaloes, but he'll be sent back to the bench in favor of RJ Smith, who's coming off a 13-point, five rebound outing in Colorado's win over West Virginia. Ruffin should still see a solid workload off the bench Thursday.

Impact Smith will return to the starting lineup for the Buffaloes during Thursday's matchup with the Cougars. The 6-foot-3 sophomore has appeared in all 32 games (14 starts), averaging 6.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.7 steals on 21.1 minutes per game.

Javon Small - Carries team in upset loss Small logged 23 points (7-15 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds and five assists over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 67-60 loss to Colorado.
Impact Small continued to carry the Mountaineers, but the team fell short despite his best efforts. The senior guard reached the 20-point barrier for the 14th time this season while dishing out at least five dimes for the 22nd time. Small will now join his teammates in sweating out Selection Sunday as the Mountaineers are squarely on the bubble and have left their fate in the hands of the selection committee.

Impact Smith drained three from beyond the arc for the fourth time this season, falling just one point shy of a season high during Wednesday's upset win over West Virginia in the Big 12 tournament. The reserve guard also helped out on the defensive end, adding five defensive boards, two blocks and a steal. As Colorado continues to make its improbable run, Smith has played an important role over the past seven games, reaching double figures four times during that stretch while lifting his scoring production to 9.3 points after averaging 5.2 points through the first 25 games.
