Jeremy Fears - Dishes out 10 assists Fears posted 14 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and five steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 80-69 win over Colgate.
Impact Fears only had one double-digit assist game in 2024-2025. He just did it in the Spartans' opener. The point guard will look to improve on his efficiency, as 14 points on 10 shots and 40 percent from the field can certainly be better, but he had his fingerprints all over the game. The competition will get tougher, but Fears could be one of the better facilitators in the Big Ten.

Jaxon Kohler - Strong start to 2025-2026 Kohler contributed 16 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 31 minutes during Monday's 80-69 victory over Colgate.
Impact Kohler only scored double-digit points 10 times last season, but that looks like its about to change as the senior got off to an excellent start to his 2025-2026 campaign. Playing 31 minutes in a game that was a little close for comfort in East Lansing, Kohler dominated the glass with 15 boards and hit 50 percent of his shots from the field while nearly getting to the free throw line 10 times. He looks primed to explode this season.
