Suffers eye injury Cox suffered an eye injury in Friday's game against Oakland, Sam King of the Lafayette Journal & Courier reports.
Impact Cox was cut over the eye in the first minute of the game, but he returned to the game and finished with an impressive stat line of 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes. Cox was getting stitches after the game, so there's a chance he might miss a game or two in the future. Purdue's next game is against Alabama on Nov. 13, though.
