Impact Entering Wednesday after scoring a season high 11 points, Adams-Woods fell back into a shooting slump, only recording one made field goal against Miami-Ohio. Adams-Woods took the second most shots for the Bearcats, posting his second game shooting less than 20 percent from the field with 10 or more shots attempted. Expect Adams-Woods to continue playing a large role in the team's offense and to increase his scoring, which has found a slump as of late.

John Newman - Logs 30 minutes in return Newman finished with five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and three rebounds across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 59-58 victory over Miami (OH).

Impact Newman was back in the starting lineup and saw the second-most minutes of any Bearcats player, though he again failed to crack double-digit scoring and has yet to do so this season. While he's still seeing better output in terms of both minutes and scoring than the 2020-21 season with Clemson, his usage rate simply isn't high enough to stay on the fantasy radar in most formats.

Impact Failing to record a made field goal in the first half, Davenport struggled from the tip. It was his second straight game shooting below 30 percent from the field and his second straight game failing to score in double figures. Expect the junior guard to shoot himself out of his recent slump, though keep in mind that his scoring is very inconsistent and streaky.

John Newman - DNP against Monmouth Newman did not take the court Saturday against Monmouth, and according to Neil Meyer of Front Office News, he was spotted on the bench in street clothes.

Impact No reason was given for Newman's absence but it was certainly felt, as the Bearcats ended up losing a buy game -- their second consecutive defeat. Newman had started the previous six games for Cincinnati, but his status is unclear in advance of Wednesday's showdown with Miami (OH).
