Reeves has decided to leave Clemson and enter the transfer portal, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Set to return Saturday
Reeves (ankle) is available to play Saturday against Virginia, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
Impact
Reeves is set to return following a two-game absence due to an ankle injury, but his return to the rotation shouldn't generate a lot of waves. The sophomore is averaging a mere 5.0 minutes per game in his 24 appearances (one start) in 2024-25.

Remains out vs. Irish
Reeves (ankle) won't play against Notre Dame, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
Impact
Reeves will miss his second straight game and his fourth in total this season. The center averages 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in a limited role this season, so his absence shouldn't hurt the Tigers all that much.

Impressive as reserve
Reeves (ankle) logged 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds, two steals and one block across nine minutes during Clemson's exhibition game Wednesday against Augusta.
Impact
Back in mid-October, Clemson's head coach Brad Brownell said Reeves was inching closer toward his return and being a key reserve while available. Fast forward to late-October, and both have come true, the latter at least in preseason action. Reeves led Clemson's reserve players in points and rebounds, a sixth-man role that would easily be an improvement from his time enrolled at Duke.

Impact
Reeves transferred in from Duke and could be available for the season-opener as he works his way back from an ankle injury. Brownell indicates they will ease the 7-foot-2 center in and is expected to be used off the bench often, barring any health setbacks.

Will not redshirt
Reeves entered Monday's game and will not redshirt this season, Adam Rowe of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Reeves' redshirt status was up in the air entering Monday's season-opener. Entering in the final minutes of the blowout, Reeves is no longer eligible to receive the redshirt. The center will likely see a minimal role off the bench for the Blue Devils this season.

Still pondering redshirt
Duke coach Jon Scheyer, when asked about the possibility of a redshirt for Reeves, said that "anything's on the table for us right now," John Watson of 247 Sports reports.
Impact
Reeves was one of the standouts in Friday's team scrimmage, recording 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three blocks in just over 13 minutes of action. The plan all along, however, has been for Reeves to take a redshirt season with Duke. The Blue Devils already have the top overall recruit in the nation in Dereck Lively to man the center position (though he did sit out Friday), in addition to Northwestern transfer Ryan Young. Seven-foot power forward Kyle Filipowski is also capable of manning the five, so it's unclear if there will be enough opportunities this season to make suiting up worth it for the 7-1 Reeves. Some believe the three-star prospect possesses NBA-caliber talent, which will surely making spending a year on the sidelines a very difficult decision.
