Impact The Tigers really made Tennessee work for it, but the Volunteers ultimately pulled it out for their third straight win. There were no heroics from Lanier on Tuesday night with the guard coming off a huge 30-point performance in the win over Texas A&M, but his 14 points and nine rebounds on just under 50 percent shooting from the field was more than enough.

Registers 21 points in blowout Lanier totaled 21 points (9-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes during Saturday's 70-52 victory over Oklahoma.

Impact Lanier needed 17 shots to get to 21 points, in large part because he shot just 30 percent from downtown. Still, he was the Volunteers' leading scorer in a very comfortable win over Oklahoma. With the way Lanier shoots with reckless abandon (nearly 15 field goals attempted per-game), he'll remain one of the better scoring threats in the SEC.

Impact Though the Vols were without two regular starters, Tennessee was able to avenge it's loss to Florida from earlier in the season and do so in convincing fashion. That was due in large part to Lanier's efforts who put up his second-highest scoring total over the last eight games. He's been especially productive over the last five contests, racking up 19 three-pointers and shooting 44.2 percent from distance.
