Back in action Saturday Adams (undisclosed) returned from a one-game absence Saturday and had four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two assists and a rebound in 13 minutes during an 80-58 loss to Pacific.

Impact Adams missed last game due to an undisclosed injury but returned to his normal bench role in Saturday's defeat. The 5-7 sophomore is averaging 4.6 points and 2.6 assists in 16.8 minutes per game as his role isn't really significant enough to help the Pilots end a current 12-game losing streak.

Adams has given the team good minutes at times, but he also has games where he struggles to find the court. On the season, the sophomore is averaging 4.6 points, 2.6 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 17.1 minutes per game.

Impact Adams has played 67 minutes over his last two games after playing a combined 78 minutes in the previous five. It's clear Adams is carving out a more prominent role for himself but he'll need to stay more consistent if he wants this nice run of usage to continue.

Impact Adams was coming off of his first start and arguably his best game of the season last Saturday versus Pepperdine when he amassed 10 points, seven assists, five steals and three rebounds. Unfortunately, the sophomore appears to have picked up an injury at some point as well, leaving the Pilots shorthanded in the backcourt. It's unclear exactly how long the issue will prevent Adams from taking the floor, but his next chance surfaces Saturday versus San Diego.
