Impact Coming off a 16-point performance in the loss to Northwestern in just 20 minutes, Strong outdid himself. The Gamecocks are off for the weekend, but take on Virginia Tech on Tuesday.

Impact Sharavjamts had not had more than three assists before Friday. The 6-9 forward may have found a new role for the Gamecocks as a facilitator. He failed to score in double digits for the first time since the opener and took a season-low three field goals attempts. The Mongolian native has averaged 8.0 rebounds over his last four games.

Myles Stute - Out again Stute (concussion/broken nose) won't play in Friday's game against Charleston Southern and is considered day-to-day.
Impact Stute will miss a second straight game due to a concussion and broken nose that stem from an incident during practice. The sixth-year forward had started in each of his five appearances this season, averaging 7.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 23.2 minutes. His next chance to play will come Tuesday against Virginia Tech. Jordan Butler filled Stute's starting spot last time out.

Hayden Assemian - Out with concussion concerns Assemian (concussion) is out for Friday's game against Charleston Southern.
Impact Assemian is on concussion protocol, which will sideline him for the first time this season. The 6-foot-6 freshman has started the last four games for the Gamecocks, so his absence should put senior Nordin Kapic back in the starting lineup. Assemian's next chance to see the court will be Tuesday against Virginia Tech.
