Impact Miller hasn't started a game this season, but he's been dynamite off the bench in his last two outings. He's scored 15 and 19 in consecutive games, doing so while hitting 65 percent of his shots from the floor. If Miller can continue to be a scoring spark-plug off the bench, he'll continue to see bigger minutes.

Jordan Sears - Assertive scoring early Sears ended with 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 victory over Charleston Southern.

Impact Sears has hit at least 15 points in three of his four games to open the year. The point guard is taking matters into his own hands scoring-wise, attempting 8.8 field goals each game. That's what the Tigers need from their point guard. What's more, aside from a five turnover performance against Kansas State in the Octagon of Doom, he's taken care of the ball while proficiently facilitating the offense for his teammates.

Dji Bailey - Conservative approach early Bailey totaled 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 win over Charleston Southern.

Impact Bailey has been steady for the Tigers, but he hasn't been all that assertive - he's only taken more than six shots in a game once this season, when he took seven in the opener. That's capped his ceiling somewhat, but the guard is actually shooting 68 percent from the field. Don't be surprised if LSU asks him to take matters into his own hands more, especially if the Tigers start to struggle.

Derek Fountain - Likely out Tuesday Fountain (ankle) is likely out for LSU on Tuesday but is targeting a return of Friday the 22, Luke Hubbard of Rivals.com reports.

Impact Fountain missed the Tigers' last game against Kansas State, but and appears unlikely to dress Tuesday night against Charleston Southern. However, the forward appears to be progressing, as LSU is reportedly targeting a return date of Nov. 22 against Pittsburgh.
