Balanced effort in return Wallace notched seven points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt), four rebounds, five assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 80-73 loss to Vanderbilt.

Impact Wallace missed the final regular season game with an ankle injury, but was considered probable for the SEC tournament and didn't seem to have any limitations here. The Wildcats still fell short with Wallace manning the point, but perhaps the early exit is a blessing in disguise, as Kentucky will have more time to get its backcourt healthy for the NCAA Tournament. Should Sahvir Wheeler (undisclosed) get back in action before then, Wallace would presumably have less ball-handling responsibillity.

Good to go Friday Coach John Calipari said Wallace (ankle) will start in Friday's game versus Vanderbilt, Tyler Thompson of Kentucky Sports Radio reports.

Impact Wallace will return to the lineup Friday after missing the previous game with an ankle injury. The freshman guard has started in all 29 of his appearances this season.

Probable for SEC Tournament Wallace (ankle) is probable for the 2023 SEC Tournament, according to Kyle Tucker of The Athletic.

Impact According to Tucker, there is a "very good chance" Wallace plays this week, in which the 2023 SEC Tournament will take place. Currently, Kentucky's next game is expected to be a quarterfinal scheduled against either Louisiana State or Vanderbilt. If unavailable that matchup, Wallace will have to wait until the Wildcats' semifinal game or March Madness if they get eliminated by LSU or Vandy.

Impact After sustaining an ankle injury last Wednesday, Wallace has remained out nursing the injury.
