Lead scorer off bench vs. Arkansas Ward had 18 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes during Saturday's 69-66 win over Arkansas.

Impact Ward was quiet in the Spartans' season opener against Colgate, logging just 10 minutes and scoring five points with four rebounds. The 6-foot-9 freshman saw his minutes ramp up to 23 versus the Razorbacks, and he also finished with a double-double of 10 rebounds. While the young forward likely won't get positioned into the starting lineup this early in the season, he looks to be positioned as a main rotator and contributor in the games to come.
