Aly Khalifa - Posts six assists in return Khalifa accumulated eight points (3-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and six assists over 20 minutes during Saturday's 72-66 win over Kansas State.

Impact Khalifa's return after two missed games due to an illness moved Fousseyni Traore back to the bench. The two split time evenly, each playing 20 minutes and while Traore maintained his run of great play, Khalifa didn't miss a beat, contributing a couple of threes on his way to eight points while adding six assists. Khalifa is one of the best passing big men in the country, ranking second on BYU in assists and 11th in the Big 12 conference, one of just two non-guards in the conference (KJ Adams) to average more than 3 assists per game. Khalifa has posted at least three assists in all but two of 18 games played, averaging 4.4 helpers per game along with 5.9 points and 4.3 boards in 20.2 minutes per game.

Impact Traore returned to the bench with the return of Aly Khalifa, who had missed the previous two games with an illness. The two split time evenly, each playing 20 minutes while Traore maintained his run of great play, finishing just two rebounds shy of a double-double. Traore had a slow return after missing seven games due to a hamstring issue, but he's found his footing over the last four, starting two of those games and producing 18.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 63.8% shooting over 24.3 minutes per game

Impact Johnson put together another solid effort for the well-balanced Cougars, who had five players reach double figures on the night. The senior guard is averaging career-highs across the board for a BYU team that's showing themselves well in their first season in the Big 12. For the season, he's contributing 11.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. though his shooting percentages are actually at a career-low pace, shooting just 42.4% from the floor and 30.8% from three after shooting 46.1% last year from behind the arc.

Impact Waterman led BYU with eight rebounds though he converted on just one of five shot attempts, all from three, to put up another underwhelming offensive performance Tuesday. The senior forward performed well during the non-conference slate, posting 11.8 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 49.1% from the field and 42.9% from three. However, despite maintaining his starting status, he's struggled significantly in eight conference games with just as many zero-point efforts (three) as games with 17-plus points. Specifically, most of his struggles are taking place on the road as he averages 0.8 points and 5.8 rebounds on the road as opposed to 14.8 points and 4.5 rebounds at home during Big 12 play. To that end, three of the next four games for BYU will take place in the friendly confines of the Marriott Center.
