Evan Haywood - Scores 10 off bench Tuesday Haywood supplied 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 79-60 loss to UConn.

Impact Haywood, coming off a breakout performance Saturday versus Providence, had another solid outing on the road versus UConn. He scored 10 points for just the third time this season and hit multiple three-pointers for the seventh time this season, including his third game in a row. It's been a strong start to conference play for Haywood as he's averaging 14.0 points per game in two conference games after averaging 6.7 points per game across the first nine games of the season.

Drayton Jones - Leads Bulldogs in Tuesday's loss Jones posted 13 points (3-5 FG, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 79-60 loss to UConn.

Impact Jones and the Bulldogs opened up conference play Tuesday and it unsurprisingly ended in a loss to the red-hot UConn Huskies. Jones led the team in scoring with 13, his third straight game with double digit points. He also grabbed five rebounds in his seventh straight game, establishing some consistency in the paint for Butler. Over his last four games Jones is averaging 10.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.3 blocks across 25.3 minutes per game, a nice run of form that he will look to continue Saturday versus Northwestern.

Jayden Ross - Scores 13 off bench Ross ended Tuesday's 79-60 win over Butler with 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 25 minutes.

Impact Ross had his best performance of the season Tuesday in the Huskies' Big East opener. He shattered his previous season highs with 13 points and eight rebounds as he played 25 minutes off the bench for just the second time this season. He hit six of his nine field goal attempts and he went five for five from inside the arc. He also added one steal and one block on the defensive end. Ross has carved out a solid role in the Huskies' rotation so far this season, but this was the first time he really got a chance to shine in that role.

Solo Ball - Drops 26 in Big East opener Ball logged 26 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 79-60 win over Butler.

Impact Ball started off Big East play on an excellent note as he led the Huskies with 26 points, setting a new career high in the process. It marked just his third game this season where he shot at least 50 percent from the field, and he added value at the free throw line (7-8) and from beyond the arc (3-6). He also grabbed five board for the fifth time this season and blocked his fourth shot of the campaign. It was a great way to kick off conference play and now he'll look to build off this performance Sunday at DePaul.
