Sharp from deep in win Brakefield registered 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt) and six rebounds across 16 minutes off the bench during Friday's 76-54 win over Bellarmine.
Impact Brakefield was one of two Duke players that scored in double digits during Friday's comfortable win, and he achieved that feat thanks to his sizzling touch from deep -- he made his four shots from beyond the arc. Brakefield is yet to start this season and logged a season-high 16 minutes Friday, but he's managed to score in double digits in each of his past two appearances. It wouldn't be strange to see his minutes spike a bit given how well he's shooting the ball early in the season.

Impact The Blue Devils improved to 2-1 following Friday's win, and it's hard to deny Hurt's impact on the offensive side of the ball -- he has posted back-to-back 20-point performances while also averaging 8.7 rebounds per game. He's also started each of Duke's first three games and that should be the case again Sunday against Elon.
