Dominating the paint
Miller closed with 26 points (11-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 88-51 victory over Alabama State.
Impact
Miller continues to dominate the paint for the Bearcats, cleaning the glass for 14 boards while connecting on all 10 of his shots around the basket en route to a season-high 26 points. The senior big man from Mallorca also connected on his second triple of the season as Cincinnati rolled to the easy win. Miller missed two games at the end of November due to a lower body injury but has shown no lingering effects from the injury, recording three double doubles in four games since returning to the lineup. Since his return, he's averaging 15.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 62.2-percent from the floor across 29.5 minutes per contest.

Rips down 17 boards
Miller contributed 10 points (3-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 17 rebounds, six assists and one block over 28 minutes during Friday's 79-74 loss to Xavier.
Impact
Miller ripped down a career-high 17 boards in putting together his fifth double double of the season during the Bearcats' loss to their arch rival. The 6-foot-11 senior big man added a season-best six dimes to complete the big performance, making up for shooting a season-worst 25-percent on 12 shots from the floor. Miller missed a couple of games due to a lower body issue but has averaged 11.5 points and 14.0 boards in the two games since returning to the lineup. For the season, the transfer from Florida Atlantic has been a fantasy force, reaching double figures in rebounds during six of seven games played and is averaging 13.6 points, 11.1 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocks across 28.7 minutes per contest.

Doesn't play Wednesday
Miller (lower body) didn't play in Wednesday's game against Eastern Michigan.

Status doubtful
Miller (lower body) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Eastern Michigan, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Miller's updated status suggests he will sit out another game. He already sat out Monday's game against NJIT, and the Bearcats responded to his injury-related absence by starting Jalen Celestine, who struggled with zero makes and six misses in 11 minutes. It would not be surprising if they make Miller sit out another game but opt for a change in their starting frontcourt.

Miller is apparently day-to-day, so the starting forward's injury -- at least at the moment -- isn't considered too serious. Through five games, Miller has gotten off to an excellent start, averaging 14.4 points and 10.0 rebounds. His next chance to play will come against Eastern Michigan on Nov. 26.

Miller needed only 24 minutes to record a double-double in his debut with the Bearcats after posting five-such efforts last season with the Owls.
