Not warming up Rapp (illness) is not warming up ahead of Tuesday's game at Ohio State, John Steppe of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The fact that Rapp isn't warming up suggests he won't be available to feature Tuesday. If that's the case, the big man will aim to recover for the matchup against Iowa on Sunday, Feb. 22.
FEBRUARY 17 • ROTOWIRE

Wisconsin Bolsters Resume With Overtime Win at No. 8 Illinois
Good to go at Illini Rapp (illness) is available against Illinois on Tuesday night.
Impact Rapp missed Wisconsin's narrow loss at Indiana with an illness, but the forward is ready to roll in what promises to be a tough matchup against Illinois. Rapp has come off the bench since December, and averages 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in that span.

Ruled out vs. Indiana Rapp (undisclosed) won't play in Saturday's matchup versus Indiana.
Impact Rapp is set to miss his fourth game of the season due to an undisclosed injury. He is currently averaging 8.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 19 games and will look to make his return during Tuesday's matchup versus Illinois.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Finds shooting stroke again Rapp recorded 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt) and six rebounds over 20 minutes during Saturday's 92-82 victory over Ohio State.
Impact Rapp has been hit-or-miss as a reserve forward option for the Badgers this season, as his final output often depends on whether or not his first three-point basket falls. He found his shooting stroke in the first half Saturday and didn't look back, scoring his most points in a game since a Nov. 27 loss to Providence. On the year, Rapp has found the Big Ten scheduling far tougher than the WCC slate he saw last season that ended up with him winning conference Freshman of the Year honors. His scoring, rebounding and three-point percentage are all down, but was we saw here, the 6-10 sophomore can still emerge as an X-factor for the Badgers on occasion.

Good to go Saturday Rapp (ankle) is ready to roll Saturday versus Rutgers, per the Big Ten availability report.
Impact Rapp has missed the last trio of games while battling an ankle issue, but it appears the sophomore big man will provide some depth in the frontcourt Saturday. Rapp should be slated for healthy minutes off the bench, especially given a lack of bodies for Wisconsin down low.
JANUARY 17 • ROTOWIRE
DNP Tuesday Rapp (ankle) did not appear in Tuesday's 78-75 win over Minnesota.
Impact Rapp missed his third-straight game as the Badgers took down the Golden Gophers on a game-winning three from John Blackwell. The 6-foot-10 sophomore will have his next opportunity to suit up Saturday against Rutgers.
JANUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Participating in warmups Rapp (ankle) is participating in warmups ahead of Tuesday's game against Minnesota, John Steppe of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Rapp has missed the past two games due to an ankle injury and received a questionable tag ahead of Tuesday's tilt. He's an active participant in pregame warmups, which is an encouraging sign for his availability.
JANUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable vs. Gophers Rapp (ankle) is questionable to face Minnesota on Tuesday.
Impact Rapp was considered unlikely to return to action Tuesday, but the sophomore forward is still questionable with tip-off several hours out and looks to be a game-time call for the Badgers. The sophomore forward has missed the past two games, and prior to that he'd settled into a bench role in Madison, averaging 8.6 points and 3.1 rebounds in his newfound backup role.
JANUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Unlikely to return Tuesday Rapp (ankle) appears unlikely to return in Tuesday's game against Minnesota, Nick Osen of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Rapp, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, was able to get in some work with a trainer this week, but he was held out of live drills. The 6-foot-10 sophomore, who is averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 blocks on 23.4 minutes per game, will have his status monitored heading into Tuesday's game against the Golden Gophers.
JANUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Out again Saturday Rapp (ankle) is listed as out for Saturday's game against Michigan.
Impact Rapp will miss a second straight game due to an ankle injury, according to Michael McCleary of the Wisconsin State Journal. Rapp's absence will mean potentially increased opportunities for Aleksas Bieliauskas and Will Garlock in Wisconsin's frontcourt, though the Badgers opted to play small-ball lineups for extended minutes last time Rapp was unavailable. Rapp's next chance to play will come Tuesday against Minnesota.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Rapp will miss his first game of the season, but the reason for his absence is unknown. His next chance to play will come Saturday at Michigan. While he's out, Aleksas Bieliauskas and Will Garlock should see expanded roles.

Ice cold off the bench Rapp closed Wednesday's 90-60 loss to Nebraska with seven points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes.
Impact Rapp was Wisconsin's leading scorer off the bench, and considering he shot just 30 percent from the field and was 1-of-6 from downtown, it's easier to fathom how the Badgers lost by 30. Nebraska's defense swarmed Wisconsin all night, and Rapp was no exception. In the last three games he's come off the bench, Rapp averages 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

John Blackwell scores 26, Nick Boyd 20, and Wisconsin tops Northwestern 85-73 in Big Ten opener

John Blackwell had 26 points and 11 rebounds, Nick Boyd scored 20 points, and Wisconsin won yet another Big Ten opener, defeating Northwestern 85-73
DECEMBER 4, 2025 • Associated Press
Not starting vs. Wildcats Rapp is out of Wisconsin's starting five against Northwestern, per Jed Katz of On3.com.
Impact Rapp has been inconsistent to start the 2025-26 campaign with the Badgers, and Wisconsin will send him to the bench against Northwestern in favor of fellow big Alexis Bieliauskas, who will get the start in his stead. This could be a purely matchup-related decision as Northwestern looks to stress the Badgers down low.
DECEMBER 3, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Inconsistent start with Badgers Rapp recorded two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Friday's 74-63 loss to TCU.
Impact Rapp put up a season-best 20 points in the Rady Children's Invitational opener against Providence on Thursday, but he was completely held in check by the TCU defense the following day. In addition to struggling from the field, he committed a season-high three turnovers for a collective frontcourt that simply couldn't get it going offensively. Rapp's game log has been wildly consistent so far this season, with his worst scoring showings coming against the best competition the Badgers have faced.
