Nate Ament - Puts up team-high 22 points Ament ended Saturday's 77-69 victory over Auburn with 22 points (4-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 12-15 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block over 37 minutes.
Impact Ament had his worst shooting game from the field in conference play, but was able to force his way to the free throw line and get his third 20-point game in his last five games. Over that span, the 6-10 freshman has averaged 22.0 points and helped the Volunteers win four of five. Ament has hit six 3-pointers in his last three games and averaged 7.0 rebounds. He has played at least 35 minutes in the last five games as well.
