Withdraws from portal Williamson has withdrawn from the portal and will return to FIU for the 2025-26 season, Kevin Barral of G5 Football Daily reports.

Impact Williamson has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal and will return to FIU, where he's expected to play a significant role. He was a big piece in his freshman season and will now be a nice addition to the rotation for the 2025-26 campaign. Williamson averaged 7.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals on 24.2 minutes per game (33 games) in 2024-25.

No longer with Iowa Williamson has decommitted from Iowa and will not be joining the program, per Tyler Tachman of the Des Moines Register.

Impact Williamson will rescind his committment after announcing his decision to join the Hawkeyes on May 21. The reasoning for his decommittment is thus far unknown. The 6-foot-2 guard will re-enter the NCAA transfer portal following a single season with Florida International.
