Impact Bacot scored at least 10 points in eight of his first nine appearances, but he has posted double-digit scoring efforts in just two of his last five contests. This 18-point output was his second-best scoring figure of the campaign and he was also quite effective from the field, so this performance might boost his confidence going forward. Bacot only has three double-doubles this season, but he has been productive on both ends of the court and that shouldn't change going forward.

Impact While it's a good sign Bacot is still starting while Garrison Brooks was moved to a bench role, it was Brooks that was on the court when the game was tight down the stretch Tuesday. The bigger factor here appears to be the emergence of Day'Ron Sharpe, who logged 12 points and 16 rebounds across 27 minutes. The inconsistent UNC rotation isn't helping Bacot, who has yet to record a double-double in four ACC games. He's also been limited to single-digit scoring in back-to-back games.
