Impact Wright made way for the returning Jeremy Roach (concussion) but still made a major contribution while seeing 25 minutes off the bench, falling one assists shy of a double-double while adding three steals. The freshman point guard ended the non-conference portion of the schedule on a strong note as this effort comes on the heels of a 16 points, 13 assists performance during Baylor's previous game. Wright will enter conference play averaging 12.9 points and 5.7 assists across 27.4 minutes while coming off the bench for nine of those 11 contests.

Impact Ojianwuna posted his first double-double of the season and second of his career while adding three blocks on the defensive end during Friday's massive victory over D-II Arlington Baptist. The junior center ends non-conference play averaging 7.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks across 22.9 minutes per contest.

Norchad Omier - Explodes for massive double-double Omier contributed 19 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 FT), 24 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 107-53 victory over Arlington Baptist.
Impact Omier compiled a monster double double with the 24 rebounds representing the most he's had in a game since 2021 while he was with Arkansas State. To be fair, the competition was light as Arlington Baptist is a Division II outfit but Omier excelled in Baylor's final tune-up prior to the start of conference play. The 25th-ranked Bears completed a brutal non-conference schedule that saw them match up against five ranked teams, finishing with a 2-3 mark as Omier averaged 18.0 points and 9.6 rebounds against ranked opponents.

Jeremy Roach - Available Friday Roach (concussion) will be active during Friday's game against DII Arlington Baptist, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Roach will make his return to the court on Friday after missing the Bears' last two games with a concussion. The 6-foot-2 senior, who hasn't suited up since Dec. 4, against UConn, is averaging 12.8 points, 1.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 0.5 steals across eight starts after transferring in from Duke this offseason. Roach will likely be eased back into action tonight as the Bears take on the DII Patriots.
