Mason Nicholson - Could be available Thursday Nicholson didn't play Saturday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff but might be available for Thursday's game against Texas Southern, head coach Mark Byington told Dylan Tovitz of SI.com....
Impact Nicholson was dressed for warmups ahead of Saturday's game, but in the end, he didn't suit up. All signs point to him returning to action next Thursday, though. The big man, who averaged 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in 2024-25 with Jacksonville State, has yet to play this season.

Duke Miles - Hits for 20 points Miles finished Saturday's 104-75 victory over UAPB with 20 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-9 FT), four rebounds, six assists and five steals across 31 minutes.
Impact Miles equaled his season high set last Saturday against UCF. The Commodores have been running and gunning with 101.5 points per game. Miles is leading the offense with 16.3 points and 5.8 assists. His defense with 12 steals has also been on point. The well-travelled senior seems to have found a home in Nashville.

Tyler Tanner - Deals nine assists Tanner notched 12 points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Saturday's 104-75 win over UAPB.
Impact The game was a blowout, but Tanner was given a few extra minutes with Frankie Collins (lower leg) out. The guard had just six combined assists in his first three games, but has managed to contribute in other ways. He has scored at least 12 points in every game and has snagged 11 steals. Tanner should continue to see good minutes against Texas Southern on Thursday.

AK Okereke - Starts, scores 14 Okereke produced 14 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Saturday's 104-75 victory over UAPB.
Impact Okereke came off the bench on Wednesday against the Eastern Kentucky, but he was back in the starting lineup for the third time in four games. After recording zero rebounds in the first two games, the 6-7 senior has snagged 13 boards in his last two games. He scores best when he gets to the free throw line. Okereke has hit a 3-pointer in every game this season.

Frankie Collins - Sits Saturday as a precaution Collins (lower leg) sat out Vanderbilt's 104-75 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday as a precaution, per Aria Gerson of The Tennessean.
Impact Collins reportedly could've played, but the Commodores didn't want him on the court at less than 100 percent. Plus, they didn't need him regardless as they rolled a hapless UAPB squad. Collins will look to return to action on Thursday, Nov. 20 against Texas-Southern.
