Team-high 15 points off bench Cryer notched a team-high 15 points (4-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding two assists and two steals in the win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Monday.
Impact Cryer got 25 minutes as Baylor was able to cruise against a weaker opponent. The freshman has done a good job providing a spark off the bench this season, averaging 9.2 points, 2.4 three-pointers, and 1.2 steals in 17.4 minutes per contest. He is also shooting 60 percent from behind the arc. Cryer will be battling Adam Flagler for backcourt minutes off the bench behind the star trio of Davion Mitchell, Jared Butler, and MaCio Teague. Baylor will take on Central Arkansas next Tuesday.

Impact Vital only needed to play 11 minutes against an inferior opponent. He is averaging 5.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks in 20.2 minutes per game this season. Vital should play more as Baylor starts to get into conference play, as he can be a force on the glass at his best. The team's next game will be Dec. 29 against Central Arkansas.

Impact Thamba has started every game this season and is averaging 3.5 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per contest. While Thamba is getting the starts, Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua seems to be the preferred option at the center position early in the season. Baylor will play Central Arkansas next Tuesday.

Impact Tchamwa Tchatchoua has come off the bench in every game this season and has had a big impact. He is the leading rebounder on the team and is averaging 10.5 points and 7.2 boards on 60 percent shooting in 20.3 minutes per game. Tchamwa Tchatchoua is playing the majority of the minutes at the center position despite the fact that Flo Thamba continues to start. That may change in the future, but right now it's working for coach Scott Drew. Baylor will take on Central Arkansas next Tuesday.

Impact Mitchell was not needed to produce much in this game against an inferior opponent. The 6-2 junior is putting up impressive numbers this season, averaging 13.2 points, 6.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers, and 2.3 steals per game. Mitchell, Jared Butler, and MaCio Teague make up the best two-way backcourt in the country. Baylor's next opponent will be Dec. 29 against Central Arkansas.
