Impact Polite was already expected to miss some time due to the wrist injury, and he can now be ruled out for the foreseeable future after going under the knife. Coach Leonard Hamilton said he'd be "surprised" if the senior guard was back in time for the ACC Tournament in early March, so there's a legitimate chance the injury ends his 2021-22 campaign, during which he's averaged 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 27.6 minutes.
