Lands with Wisconsin Rohde is transferring to Wisconsin, Evan Flood of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Rohde, who spent the last two seasons as a regular starter for Virginia, is returning to his home state and joining Wisconsin. The six-foot-six-inch guard averaged 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists last season with 43.2/41.3/77.3 shooting splits. He should be a significant part of the rotation and potentially a starter with the Badgers.
APRIL 3 • ROTOWIRE
Enters transfer portal Rohde entered the NCAA's transfer portal Monday, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
Impact Even though Virginia's 2024-25 team failed to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Rohde statistically improved from his 2023-24 season. This year is his second in the NCAA's transfer portal. The first is 2023, when Rohde transferred from St. Thomas (MN).

Rohde is averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 0.9 steals per game since the beginning of February, and he'll look to make an impact in the regular-season finale against Syracuse on Saturday.

Back in starting five Rohde will return to the starting five on Monday against Pittsburgh, per Preston Willett of The Sabre.
Impact Rohde didn't start in the Cavaliers' last game against Virginia Tech after he missed the prior contest against Miami with a foot/lower leg injury (the guard was spotted in a walking boot). Rohde will now make his return to the starting lineup, where he's spent most of the season. The guard averages 8.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.1 steals.
FEBRUARY 3 • ROTOWIRE
Valiant effort in return Rohde (foot) closed with 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 75-74 loss to Virginia Tech.
Impact Rhode missed the Cavaliers' win over Miami (FL), but returned against Virginia Tech and did all he could in the narrow loss. While he wasn't the most efficient as a scorer, he dished out seven assists, which tied his season high. Though he didn't get the start Saturday, he should return to Virginia's starting five imminently.
FEBRUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE
DNP Wednesday Rohde did not play in Wednesday's game against the Hurricanes due to a foot injury, Zach Carey of SB Nation reports.
Impact Rohde was recently observed wearing a walking boot and was not able to go in this game. The junior guard will aim to be back for Saturday's encounter against Virginia Tech.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Retreats to the bench Rohde is not listed amongst Virginia's starting five ahead of Wednesday's game against Miami.
Impact Rohde will make way for Taine Murray in Wednesday's starting lineup and will come off the bench for just the fourth team this season. The 6-foot-6 junior, who is averaging 8.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals on 29.5 minutes per game figures to remain involved for the Cavaliers.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Stuffs stat sheet Saturday Rohde registered 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 32 minutes during Saturday's 70-50 loss to Louisville.
Impact The Cavaliers looked overmatched Saturday, but Rohde posted a solid stat line while making his presence felt on both ends of the court. He's been on a roll of late and has scored in double digits in his last two outings, something he hadn't accomplished in back-to-back appearances since late November.
JANUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Comes close to double-double Rohde ended Tuesday's 70-67 victory over North Carolina State with 11 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 36 minutes.
Impact Rohde did a good job of filling out the stat sheet, though he stood out as a playmaker with a season-high seven assists. He's started in each of the Cavaliers' last eight games, averaging 8.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3,1 assists per game in that span.

Scores 13 points off bench Rohde (back) recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Friday's 70-60 victory over Villanova.
Impact Rohde came off the bench and was one of the Cavaliers' best players, finishing as the team's second-best scorer behind only Isaac McKneely (23 points). Rohde could return to the starting unit for the game against Tennessee on Thursday.
NOVEMBER 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Not starting Friday Rohde (back) is not listed amongst Virginia's starting five ahead of Friday's game against Villanova.
Impact Rohde appears likely to miss a second-consecutive game with Dai Dai Ames listed in the Cavaliers starting lineup once again, but he has been seen warming up, so a return is not completely ruled out, per Preston Willett of The Sabre. If the 6-foot-6 junior is ultimately unable to suit up against the Wildcats, his next opportunity to return will come against Tennessee on Thursday.
NOVEMBER 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Last minute scratch Rohde (back) has been scratched from Virginia's starting five just before tip-off.
Impact Rohde apparently had a back problem pop up right before tip-off, as he was initially announced as a starter for the Cavaliers. He's been replaced by Dai Dai Ames in the starting five against Coppin State.
