Impact Bynum had a breakout game of sorts in a one-point victory over West Virginia a week ago, scoring a season-high 17 points to go along with nine boards, three assists and three blocks. That effort earned him a starting nod over Brandon Noel Saturday against UNC, and while the Buckeyes fell short, Bynum was still the superior performer, with Noel getting held scoreless on just 13 minutes. It's possible this change holds with Big Ten play looming.

Quietest outing yet Bynum provided two points (1-2 FG), one rebound and one block over 21 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 88-80 loss to Illinois.

Impact Bynum hasn't exactly stuffed the stat sheet for the Buckeyes, but the bench forward was averaging 8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds coming into Tuesday night's clash with the Illini. He was completely nullified in 21 minutes of action, notching a season-low two points and one rebound. He'll look to bounce back against West Virginia on Saturday.

Career-high 20 minutes in win Bynum finished Sunday's 64-63 win over Notre Dame with four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 20 minutes.

Impact Bynum's 20 minutes were the most he's played in his true freshman season, and he parlayed that into just four points but he did pull down five rebounds. The freshman forward has been very efficient over his first four game, shooting 52.6 percent from the field. He's taking good shots and looks equipped to be a valuable bench piece for the Buckeyes this season.
