Impact Hansberry was the lone bright spot during West Virginia's otherwise moribund performance, posting his second-consecutive double-double. The sophomore forward shot 50-percent from the field and 40-percent from three while earning his third double-double of the season. Hansberry has started each of the last eight games after spending a brief seven-game respite coming off the bench, averaging 10.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists since returning to the starting lineup.

Suffers lower body injury Hansberry (lower body) suffered an injury during Sunday's matchup against Mercyhurst, though it is not believed to be serious, per Cody Nespor of WVSportsNow.com.

Impact Hansberry suffered the injury in the opening minutes of Sunday's game and quickly limped to the locker room. He later returned to the bench area but did not return to the game. Head coach Darian DeVries indicated that the injury isn't believed to be serious and Hansberry isn't expected to miss much time, but his status for next week's matchup against Kansas will remain in question barring further updates.
