No longer on report
Arenas (knee) is not on the injury report and will be available for Wednesday's game against Northwestern.
Impact
Arenas was deemed as probable for Wednesday's game earlier in the week, and now it's been confirmed that he'll be available for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign. Arenas, a 6-foot-6 freshman, should be a key player for USC on offense as long as he's able to stay healthy.

Described as "probable"
Arenas (knee) is "probable" for Wednesday's clash with Northwestern, per Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times.
Impact
Arenas, a five-star true freshman for the Trojans, appears finally slated to make his collegiate debut. The 6-foot-6 guard should make an instant impact for USC, although it remains to be seen how head coach Eric Musselman will deploy him. Arenas should provide a much-needed boost in LA for a Trojans' squad off to a 3-4 start in Big Ten play.

Won't debut quite yet
Arenas (knee) won't debut this week, remaining sidelined in clashes with Maryland and Purdue, per Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times.
Impact
USC head coach Eric Musselman had previously indicated the prized five-star freshman was slated for a mid-January return. However, Arenas won't hit the hardwood quite yet, as he's set to remain sidelined for at least the next two games -- a homestand against the Terps and Boilermakers. He's reportedly "progressing well" and allegedly still plans to debut during Big Ten play.

Unlikely to play in road trip
Arenas (knee) isn't expected to play in USC's three-game road trip that begins Jan. 2, Ryan Kartje of Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
None other than head coach Eric Musselman revealed the news, meaning Arenas' debut with the Trojans will continue to be delayed, even if he's back in practice. Under these circumstances, his debut might come against Maryland on Jan. 13 once USC return home.

Will return to practice this week
Arenas (knee) will return to practice the week of Dec. 15 and is still aiming for a mid-January return, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Arenas, a five-star true freshman for the Trojans, has yet to play this season but remains on track for a mid-January return, according to head coach Eric Musselman. That remains consistent with what Musselman said in early December, so it appears Arenas' recovery is still going as expected. He should provide an immediate boost for USC whenever he does manage to get on the court.

Will be re-evaluated in January
Arenas (knee) is set to be re-evaluated in January to determine if he'll be able to play in 2025-2026, per Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com.
Impact
The former five-star true freshman tore his meniscus in July and was initially thought to be in jeopardy of missing the entire season. That could still be the case, but Arenas is now at least scheduled to be re-evaluated in January once the Trojans are in the thick of conference play. "He's progressed really well," USC head coach Eric Musselman said. "He's so resilient, it's insane...he's wired different."
