Cameron Carr - Tops 20 again Carr ended with 24 points (8-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 113-56 win over Alcorn State.
Impact Carr led the way with 24 points for the Bears, connecting on all but one of his nine shot attempts in recording his sixth 20-point effort of the campaign. The sophomore wing added six boards and five stocks in just 25 minutes as he controlled the game on both ends. Carr has been sublime during the non-conference slate, averaging 21.7 points, 5.6 boards and 1.8 blocks while shooting 57.5-percent across 31.3 minutes through 10 games. Carr and the Bears will have a chance to make one final statement in non-conference play on Sunday when they take on Southern.

Impact Rataj recorded his third double double of the season, shooting 70-percent from the floor including draining both of his attempts from long range as Baylor cruised to the win. The senior forward, whose 18 points matched a season high, also equaled a season-best effort with five assists. Rataj has averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 56.7-percent from the floor and 66.7-percent from three-point range over his last four performances. He'll look to finish the non-conference portion of the schedule on a high note when Baylor takes on Southern on Sunday in their final game prior to the start of conference play.
