Should see time at point guard Head coach Tom Izzo said Thursday that the team hopes to get Hoggard some time at point guard in the coming games, Graham Couch of the Lansing State Journal reports.

Impact Hoggard has played a minimal role for the Spartans early in his freshman season, appearing in two of the team's first three games while totaling just seven minutes on the floor. However, the team is scheduled to face Detroit and Western Michigan during the next two games, and Hoggard could see an uptick in playing time at point guard if Michigan State can establish a comfortable lead.
