Impact Green played just three games last season before suffering a season-ending hip injury that required surgery. The 6-4 guard has been a consistent double-digit scorer throughout his career and shot right around 41 percent from the floor during his first two full seasons. His shooting woes Tuesday night were certainly uncharacteristic as he'll look to turn things around Thursday when the team hosts Vermont.

Set to have surgery Head Coach Ben Jacobson revealed early Sunday morning that Green (hip) will undergo season-ending hip surgery, Nick Petaros of The Courier reports.

Impact Green has sat out the Panthers' last two games as a result of the injury and will opt to have season-ending surgery after talking with the coaching staff. He will travel to Colorado this upcoming week to have the procedure done with a specialist. Green was the 2019-20 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and had been averaging a career-best 22.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per game in three games this season.
