Leaving Villanova Lewis is entering the NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility, per Joe Tipton of On3.com.

Impact Lewis is entering the transfer portal as well, so he is set to leave Villanova regardless of his draft status. The 6-foot-2 guard is coming off a strong freshman season, where he averaged 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals across 33 games.

Impact Lewis had one of his best performances of the season Tuesday as he helped lead the Wildcats to a win over Xavier in overtime. He scored 21 points for the third time this season, matched a season high with seven rebounds, and also chipped in six assists and four steals in the nail-biting victory. Although he shot 50 percent from the field it was not his best shooting performance as he only made three of six shots from the free throw line and missed all four of his attempts from beyond the arc. He has continued to improve as the season has gone on and is a major reason why the team has now won six consecutive games.
