Bears QB Tyson Bagent clears NFL concussion protocol

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, putting him in the mix to play Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bears announced on Sunday that Bagent has no injury designation for their Week 3 game.

Bagent returned to practice on Saturday after he suffered a concussion in last weekend's 9-3 loss to Minnesota. Bagent entered against the Vikings after Caleb Williams left with a right hamstring injury.

Case Keenum or Bagent is expected to start against the Eagles. Neither player has started a regular-season game since 2023.
