
INDY NXT Drivers Preparing for Oval Season Today at Iowa Open Test

Twenty-one INDY NXT by Firestone drivers are testing today at Iowa Speedway, as the oval racing portion of the schedule for the INDYCAR development series is about to begin.
Drivers and teams will test until 5 p.m. ET today on the .894-mile oval at Newton, Iowa, with live timing available now at www.indycar.com/leaderboard.
The series’ first oval event of the season takes place this Sunday, June 15 at World Wide Technology Raceway, a 1.25-mile circuit in Madison, Illinois, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. The race will be broadcast live at 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1, the FOX Sports app and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
INDY NXT’s second oval race of the season is Sunday, July 12 at Iowa Speedway.
