Lane scores 21, lifts North Alabama over Florida Gulf Coast 70-69

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — Jacari Lane scored 21 points and made the first of two free throws with one second left to rally North Alabama to a 70-69 victory over Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday night.

Lane added six assists for the Lions (11-12, 5-4 Atlantic Sun Conference). KJ Johnson scored 17 points and Will Soucie had 15 points on 7-for-9 shooting.

Isaiah Thompson finished with 18 points to lead the Eagles (10-14, 4-5). Zach Anderson had 16 points.
