Henry scores 26 in Texas Southern's 79-78 win against Howard at Chris Pauls' HBCU Challenge
LAS VEGAS (AP) — PJ Henry scored 26 points as Texas Southern beat Howard 79-78 on Sunday night at Chris Paul's HBCU Challenge.
Henry also added six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals for the Tigers (1-8). Jonathan Cisse scored 18 points while shooting 5 for 10 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line. Kolby Granger shot 2 of 4 from the field and 3 for 4 from the foul line to finish with eight points, while adding three steals. The Tigers stopped an eight-game losing streak with the victory.
Seth Towns led the way for the Bison (4-8) with 16 points and six rebounds. Dom Campbell added 13 points, eight rebounds and two steals for Howard. Ose Okokie also had 11 points.
