Eaglestaff's 28 lead North Dakota past Omaha 99-78
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Treysen Eaglestaff scored 28 points as North Dakota beat Omaha 99-78 on Thursday night for its seventh straight victory.
Eaglestaff also contributed three steals for the Fightin' Hawks (15-10, 7-3 Summit League). B.J. Omot added 26 points while shooting 8 for 15 (3 for 5 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free throw line, and he also had five rebounds. Tyree Ihenacho was 9 of 18 shooting, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 1 for 3 from the line to finish with 22 points.
The Mavericks (12-13, 5-5) were led by Marquel Sutton, who posted 15 points and 11 rebounds. Jaeden Marshall added 15 points and three steals for Omaha. Frankie Fidler also had 13 points and eight rebounds.
