Dorsey scores 18 as William & Mary takes down Regent 84-29
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) — Gabe Dorsey's 18 points helped William & Mary defeat Regent 84-29 in the season opener on Monday night.
Dorsey shot 6 for 13, including 6 for 12 from beyond the arc for the Tribe. Chase Lowe scored 13 points while going 5 of 5 and 3 of 5 from the free throw line, and added five rebounds. Trey Moss was 3 of 9 shooting, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 6 from the line to finish with 12 points.
The Royals were led by Mark Nyce, who posted six points. Kristofer Norman added five points for Regent. In addition, Joakim Marie-Joseph finished with four points.
