Campbell's 19 lead Samford past Merrimack 79-71

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Jaden Campbell scored 19 points as Samford beat Merrimack 79-71 on Friday night.
Campbell added seven rebounds for the Bulldogs (4-2). A.J. Staton-McCray scored 18 points and added five rebounds and three steals. Rylan Jones shot 4 for 7, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points.
The Warriors (3-3) were led by Adam Clark, who recorded 16 points, four assists and three steals. Devon Savage added 16 points for Merrimack. Jordan Derkack also had 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
