Amos scores 17 as Central Connecticut State takes down Army 79-51

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Kellen Amos had 17 points in Central Connecticut State's 79-51 victory over Army on Wednesday night.

Amos added three blocks for the Blue Devils (2-4). Jordan Jones scored 15 points while going 7 of 13 (1 for 4 from 3-point range), and added five rebounds and three steals. Jay Rodgers went 5 of 8 from the field to finish with 11 points.

Josh Scovens led the way for the Black Knights (0-7) with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Blake Barker added 11 points for Army. AJ Allenspach also recorded eight points. The Black Knights extended their losing streak to seven straight.
