“Unique” gets thrown around quite a bit in the world of sports-entertainment, but it’s safe to say that NXT has seen few competitors as singular as Isla Dawn.
The self-described “modern-day witch” employs a hard-hitting style drawing from her background in kickboxing and dance that has carried her throughout promotions across Europe.
On the Nov. 15, 2022 edition of NXT, Dawn returned to NXT after a successful career in NXT UK with a burning surprise for Alba Fyre. Dawn not only cost Fyre the title, but she has cast a shadow of darkness over NXT with her mysterious moonlight rituals.Â
Dawn has since initiated Fyre into her ways, and the two have become a formidable tag team together, defeating Fallon Henley and Kiana James for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships at NXT Stand & Deliver.Â
During the 2023 WWE Draft, both herself and Fyre were drafted to the SmackDown brand.
