Impact Hayes started in 24 of 26 regular-season games for the Valkyries in 2025, averaging 11.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 threes over 26.9 minutes per game. She missed the final seve games of the regular season and each of the Valkyries' three playoff games against the Lynx due to a knee injury, but she progressed enough in her recovery to play in the Unrivaled league with the Phantom Basketball Club. Hayes figures to start alongside Veronica Burton in Golden State's backcourt, though the former will be pushed for her starting role and playing, with both Kaila Charles and Cecilia Zandalasini being the main competitors.
