GAME LOG

Logs 21 minutes in win Sutton notched four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 96-66 victory over Las Vegas.
Impact Sutton, who was surprisingly let go by Portland last week, played a sizable role off the Dallas bench in her debut. There isn't much usage to go around in Dallas with Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale running the show, so Sutton will have a lot of work to do to remain relevant in fantasy hoops.
5 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Signed by Dallas Sutton was signed to a rest-of-season contract by the Wings, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Dallas wanted to bolster depth in the backcourt, so the Wings made the move to add Sutton after waiving JJ Quinerly. The 2020 No. 36 overall pick appeared in three regular-season games for Portland to begin the 2026 campaign before being waived, averaging 11.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 0.7 steals across 22.7 minutes.
JUNE 14 • ROTOWIRE
Waived by Fire The Fire waived Sutton on Thursday, per WNBA reporter Kareem Copeland.
Impact The move comes as a bit of a surprise, given Sutton had started two of her three games for Portland. She's averaging a career-high 11.3 points and 5.7 assists per game, so Sutton shouldn't have much trouble landing another contract.

Scores 12 in first start Sutton ended with 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists, one rebound and one steal over 25 minutes during Monday's 83-82 win over the Sun.
Impact With Carla Leite (ankle) and Kamiah Smalls (ankle) both inactive, Sutton drew the start and was fairly productive, scoring in double figures while leading the Fire in assists. After averaging 3.9 assists across 43 regular-season games with the Mystics last season, the guard has already totaled 13 assists through two games, and it'll be worth monitoring whether she can sustain the elevated distribution numbers.

Solid showing in 2026 debut Sutton collected eight points (3-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds and eight assists in 20 minutes during Thursday's 100-82 loss to the Liberty.
Impact Sutton certainly wasn't afraid to let it fly on the offensive end, and while she was held to single digits in the scoring column, she managed to lead the team in assists. This was a strong first appearance of the 2026 campaign for the fifth-year guard, who missed the first two games of the year while tending to a right knee injury.
MAY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Available against New York Sutton (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Liberty.
Impact Sutton will suit up for her first appearance of the 2026 campaign. She logged 43 games for the Mystics last season, averaging 7.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.1 blocks across 26.1 minutes. With Sutton on the floor, it could mean less minutes for Haley Jones and Kamiah Smalls.
MAY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Thursday Sutton (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Liberty.
Impact There's a chance Sutton will be able to make her regular-season debut Thursday evening. If she is cleared to play, that could result in fewer minutes for Haley Jones and Kamiah Smalls.

Won't play Tuesday Sutton (knee) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Liberty, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Impact While Sutton won't play Tuesday, head coach Alex Sarama said that she is "getting much closer," so maybe she'll be able to suit up for Thursday's rematch with New York. Haley Jones and Sarah Ashlee Barker will continue to pick up the slack in Sutton's absence.
MAY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Tuesday Sutton (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Liberty, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Impact Sutton is in danger of missing a second straight regular-season game due to a right knee injury. If the 27-year-old guard remains out, Haley Jones, Sarah Ashlee Barker and Kamiah Smalls (knee) would be candidates for increased playing time.
MAY 11 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for Saturday Sutton (knee) won't play Saturday versus Chicago, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Impact Sutton will miss Portland's regular-season opener, and for now, she should be considered questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the Liberty. Carla Leite, Haley Jones and Sarah Ashlee Barker will help fill the void in Sutton's absence.
MAY 9 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Saturday's matchup Sutton (knee) is questionable for Saturday's Opening Night matchup against the Sky, Brenden Potts of Winsidr reports.
Impact Sutton was unavailable for Portland's preseason opener due to a left foot injury and also missed Sunday's preseason finale due to a right knee injury, which is what the team states she's dealing with ahead of Saturday's Opening Night matchup. It's not yet clear whether she'll be able to suit up Saturday, but if she's available, she'll compete with Carla Leite, Haley Jones and Sarah Ashlee Barker for minutes.

Goes to Fire in second round The Fire selected Sutton in the second round of the WNBA Expansion Draft on Friday, per Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports.
Impact Sutton was a full-time starter for the Mystics last year, closing with averages of 7.4 points, 3.9 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 26.1 minutes per tilt through 43 regular-season games. Given that she was chosen in the second round, however, it remains to be seen if the Fire plan for her to maintain her starting role in 2026. For now, the expectation is that Sutton will be competing with Haley Jones and Sarah Ashlee Barker for a reserve role in the backcourt.

Paige Bueckers goes No. 1 in Unrivaled draft, joins The Breeze

Manages five points in finale Sutton posted five points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 75-66 loss to the Mystics.
Impact Sutton ended up starting 43 of her team's 44 games, missing one game back in early July due to a lower-leg injury. Sutton had started just 12 games across her first three WNBA seasons, so this was a banner year in that respect. Sutton also posted career bests in field-goal percentage (42.5 percent) and three-pointer percentage (35.3 percent). She'll be 27 years old in December, and she still has plenty of upside going forward.
